Barker Family Summer Photography Session
As a parent you know what it feels like to see your children growing up so fast. You feel like you can’t catch your breath.
You know what it feels like to be stressed out and to constantly wonder if you are doing this parenting thing right.
This is why I love family photography so much. This is where I get to show parents just how amazing they are and that we can see that their children are loved. And not just that their children are loved but their spouse is loved too!
I was so honored to take the Barker’s family pictures yesterday because I wanted to be to give them the gift of freezing this moment in their life.
I wanted Aly to be able to look back at these pictures and remember what it felt like to have the weight of her baby on her chest.
I wanted Isaac to look back at these pictures and remember when he could still throw Hazel up in to the air and bring him back to the sound of her uncontrollable giggles.
Family photo shoots shouldn’t be stressful. They should be a time that you can just forget everything else that’s going on and enjoy the present with your family.
So when you come to a session embrace this time with the ones you love most and let me worry about the rest.
Play with your kids, hold them, feel their weight on your chest as you breath them in. Let me capture these little moments and make them last forever. These moments where nothing else matters.
